Just like lava burns every thing on its way,

Your love has burned every inch of my being,

In the most beautiful, lovable yet painful ways,

My own existence has been reduced to a shell,

An exact replica of what I detested the most,

I attribute this to the fact that I lived by you,

Loved and abided by you that I lost a part of me,

That to you it turned out to be a weakness,

I wore my soul naked but all you did was judge,

Hold me against the sins of my past life,

Which I have already paid a hefty cost for,

Baby I thought I was trying so hard for us,

But the more I tried the more it didn't matter.
